EA Sports College Football 24 Cover Athlete Front Runners – Stick Skills

The much anticipated release of EA Sports College Football 24 is moving closer with each passing day. One of the biggest questions that still remains is which player will be on the cover of this year’s game.

While we don’t yet know the official answer, there are some NCAA football players that definitely making a case for themselves.

Here are the 3 players who currently have the best chance to be on the EA Sports College Football 24 cover.

Bryce Young – Alabama, QB

Bryce Young is the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and is the star quarterback for the most successful college football team of the past decade. Those 2 accomplishments on their own put him as the clear favorite to be the cover athlete.

Young already has plenty of NIL deals with major brands including Nissan and Dr. Pepper. If you are a fan of college football you’ve undoubtedly seen him in a handful of commercials.

This is a player who is clearly willing to make a deal.

If EA Sports can get one of the biggest names in college football, at the most important position, from it’s most successful modern day program, they would be foolish not to put him on the cover.

C.J. Stroud – Ohio St., QB

C.J. Stroud would be another great option for the EA Sports College Football 24 cover. You still get a player from a big name University (Ohio State) and you get one of the most exciting players in college football.

College Football 24 will be the first NCAA Football game in a decade so this isn’t a year for EA Spots to take a chance on the cover. This won’t be a Peyton Hillis on the Madden 12 cover situation.

Stroud had a great 2021 season and is off to a great start in the 2022 season as well. Through October 2022, most NFL mock drafts still have Stroud going #1 overall.

This would be another very low risk choice for EA Sports to put on the cover. A top draft pick from an elite school will definitely help sell plenty of copies of the game.

Caleb Williams – USC, QB

In the past every NCAA Football video game had to have a player who was no longer playing college football on the cover. That may no longer be the case with the upcoming College Football 24 game.

If EA Sports wanted to be sure that the player they put on the cover of their game will play college football in the 2023 season, then Caleb Williams is the right choice.

Unlike the other 2 players on this list, Caleb Williams isn’t eligible for the 2023 NFL draft since he is only 2 years out of high school.

Again this would be a safe choice. Williams is an extremely popular quarterback from one of the most prestigious football schools in the country.

Early reports indicate that EA Sports College Football 24 will have a full transfer portal system and there is no better player to highlight that than Williams who transferred from the University of Oklahoma to USC in the 2022 offseason.

It’s still early and there are certainly plenty of other qualified NCAA Football players who could be the cover athlete. That being said, the odds are extremely high that when all is said and done one of the three players we listed above will be on the EA Sports College Football 24 cover.
