Texting is now available for King County 2-1-1

Beginning today, Crisis Connections has implemented texting to King County 2-1-1 for information and referrals to community resources. This service compliments the existing web chat feature for those who would prefer an alternative to calling. To access this service, users may text their ZIP code to 877-211-9274 from 10am-4pm, Monday through Friday. A limit of one problem or need applies per session.
Legal referrals, as well as certain types of financial assistance including eviction prevention and utility assistance cannot be provided via texting or chat due to their complexity as well as additional screening requirements used by our partner agencies. Clients with these needs are instead encouraged to contact us by phone by calling 2-1-1 from 8am-6pm, Monday through Friday.
